Kitchen, dining and living blend into a single environment

Modern open -plan space

The modern kitchen is all about having a great space to cook, eat, socialise, gather as a family and relax. The appeal of the kitchen to be a part of the every day-to-day action has become so great; therefore, the average kitchen project has become so much more than simply upgrading old cabinetry. The kitchen, dining and living merge into a multi functional living space, which becomes a place for social gathering and offers scope for personal style preferences.

multifuncional space

Kitchen and living blend into a single environment where furniture is integrated together. In the living room, minimalist furniture that matches the kitchen helps create a space that transitions smoothly. The rooms are in dialogue through the furniture, geometries and finishes, maintaining their functions.

Fun and functional homework space

Making your child’s room a place that inspire their creativity and play is very important to their development and growth.

Kids want to learn in every possible way they can, here are some kid’s workspace ideas and main points to consider when designing a room that will help inspire them to commit to those homework’s, even the ones we have trouble helping them with.

1.Location

Think about where you going to set up a working space, consider how your kids focus best, if they get distracted easily, perhaps a quite spot could become the new study area.

2. Get creative

When designing your children’s bedroom, colourful and personalised elements can be easily missed out on in favour of functionality, Think about what your child’s passions are. Personalise their space making it sparks with creativity.

With Nidi Teens collection you can create endless number of arrangements to transform the space.

3.The ideal desk and chair

Children are most definitely faster and springier than we are, however ergonomics are extremely important to their growing bodies. Make sure you pick the right desk and chair to provide a comfortable space. To determine the perfect height of the chair your child’s feet are supposed to be flat on the floor while sitting, with knees at 90 degrees angle.

Check out our favourite children’s furniture brand – Nidi for desks and chairs available in different modularity and colours.

4.Storage

Keep the clutter to a minimum! It is a lot harder to concentrate when kid’s workspace is strew with unnecessary objects. Keep it to a minimum and use storage options to leave the desk tidy and organised.

The more storage that you can get into children’s room, the less it creeps into the rest of your home. We can advise you on best storage options to fit in your space, from shelves and wall units, chest of drawers to sideboards.
